Juxtaposition
What more can I say about today's weather, other than juxtaposition? I love this word, I love the almost uncomfortable meaning of this word. I think it works perfectly for today's crazy snow and the sad outcome of all the efforts of Spring over the past week or so.
I want to say goodbye to you Winter, you have shown us all your mighty glory and made sure we acknowledged your presence with layers and wellies and rain coats and gloves and hats and scarves. Oh, and goose bumps and red runny noses and dark early mornings and dry skin and wet freezing toes-ess!(these are a few of my least favourite things)
Please let this be your last display of the heart of you. Please pull down your veils of ice and take your gloom and grey to the upside down part of the world where they crave the relief of your cool embrace after the heat of Summer. I know you'll be back, but I was wondering if you would just very kindly pack up and leave?
It would be good not to have to title another blog post juxtaposition :o)
Thank you kindly
Yours sincerely
