Hello there The weather has turned somewhat in the past 24 hours and I was very surprised when Andy put the heating on for an hour yesterday evening as he normally likes to avoid it until we really need it. Must be getting old! Have you put your heating on yet? It's a sure sign that Winter has arrived in my mind. Pull our extra thick feathered quilts and blankets from the attic time. Yay, I love a candle light home with cosiness as the season changes. This week, I've had the displeasure of a head cold and had to have Wednesday off work, which did me the world of good, just resting, snoozing and reading. I need this weekend to fully recover though. I have, however found some sweet moments of happiness, mostly of the yarn kind...so here goes.... I finished crocheting these DIVINELY WARM bobble fingerless gloves and wrist warmers. Chunky or skinny?

Hello again How are you all? I can't quite believe it's Thursday evening again, where does time go? It's been a pretty eventful and busy week for me at work and so I guess this makes time fly by together with trying to get out most evenings with the sunshine we have been having and the joy of the sun setting much later these days. Glorious is it not! I wanted to share with you my new crafty book that I bought at the end of last week when we were in Brighton. Originally, it was on my Christmas list for 2012, however Santa did not deliver! Well, I've been itching to buy it for so long BUT promised myself that I would not buy it online until I saw a copy first. Believe me, every possible bookshop and knitting/haberdashery shop has been ransacked by the likes of me for this beauty. Alas, to no avail, UNTIL....last Friday! Last years calendar

This weekend we have been mostly an indoors given the blustery wind and high rainfall. We have watched a couple of movies, eaten comfort food and read our books. It was also the perfect time and opportunity for me to fill in important dates in my 2014 Mollie Makes calendar. Looking at all the pretty pictures from the 2013 calendar I was loathe to put it in the recycling bin so I started chopping up some of the little pictures from each month... I thought it might be good for me to set myself monthly rather and annual goals which feel too vague for me and also start to become a reason why I can ignore them until December! I used the little cutout pictures from each month of the year to paste in my lists book and left enough space to add my monthly goals at the beginning of each month. They may not be all my goals, but they are ones that I simply must achieve, some big and more challenging and others smaller and guaranteed to be attained.
